New Website!

So, here's the new Website, sort of. We're still working out some bugs, especially with Internet Explorer. The official launch will be in early September to coincide with my return to Austin. I'll be sending out an email blast when it happens, so if you haven't signed my guestbook now's the time. In the meantime, shoot me a message letting me know what you think of the site or if you find that something's not working right.

Peace

Hiatus

Personally, I've been involved in a number of other projects during the DCBs absence. I went back to some of my early roots, playing as a sideman in a nine piece party band, Groove Daddy. I also put together a electronic dance band called Eclectro Funk to tap into the wedding scene. However, writing has been taking up most of my time. A few years ago I wrote a musical. Recently, I was inspired by a local singer, Ms. Kim Pollini, and wrote a new song for the show. I pulled in a few other singers and recorded a demo to shop around.

One of my proudest ventures during my haitus was working with my talented family and friends on our first joint film project. I wrote, directed, and wrote some of the music for our short film Triad. My wife Michelle Carter was Director of Photography, my son Darin Carter created the CGI, and my daughter Danyelle Dixon was the Production Manager. I'm hoping to see the IMDB page soon.

So that's what's been happening; much more to come!

Peace
